This must be our first run at full retirement. Just picked a lovely spring day and drove up to the Ladew Topiary Gardens near Jarrettsville, MD, grabbed some lunch at the Madonna Seafood Restaurant and got home in time for a nice nap. We plan to go back once the roses bloom; the gardens are set up for year round activities.
