The Loco Lobo group out of Ontario hosts several events throughout the year. Some are start anywhere- end anywhere rallies and the season ending Thanksgiving Leftovers was one of them. Being based in Canada, they have Canadian traditions that may or may not be found in the states. Thankfully, the organizers made some allowances for the Canadian specialties, like Butter Tarts and Pickle stands, which apparently are quite common in the Great White North. Liquor stores get substituted for pickle stands and pecan pies from a bakery for butter tarts [which sound delicious]. To be a finisher you had to basically complete the meal- getting turkey or ham, a side dish and desert with toppings. Rick took the supplied spreadsheet and boiled it down the essentials making it compact enough to fit on the back side of my "rally flag".
Rick still needs to confirm a bunch of bonus locations for next year's 20-20 rally and thought he could combine that task, with this ride and accumulate miles for the MS5000 quest which ends the following weekend. 10 hour was the ride length limit, Rick had planned to roll out around 7:30 am or so, but it was pouring rain. An hour later, the rain had cleared and he was underway with his first first stop, an icecream stand about 3 miles from the house.
MASHed car- forgot to get a pic of the sign which was at the local VFD and probably wouldnt have counted anyway since it wasn't a junk yard.
